Movement is more than an act of shifting — it’s a sign of life, of change, of evolution. In the studio we pay attention to how your hair moves: it’s texture, density, and condition, all of which inform our cuts, colour, and home care recommendations.

But movement also speaks to how we move with you — where you are now, where you want to go, and how your hair can evolve between appointments. By designing with movement in mind, we create hair that adapts, endures, and grows with you, building trust and long-lasting relationships along the way.

Tactility

Tactility is the feel of hair, and the feeling it creates. We are craftspeople working with our hands, shaping a material that is both part of your body and part of your identity. The way your hair feels tells us what it needs and how to care for it — informing every cut, colour, and recommendation.

Tactility is also in the way we wash, brush, and apply colour with care. It’s in the textures of the studio itself — natural fibres, light, and surfaces that feel grounding and calm. By paying attention to the sensory details, touch becomes more than technique: it’s a way of communicating care and intention at every step.

Conversation flows naturally or not at all, if you’d rather sit in quiet - the point is ease. Having your hair done is an act of self-care, and the time you spend with us is yours.

For us, clarity is about agency: making sure you understand your options, feel informed, know what maintenance requirements there are and what your investment will be prior to committing.
